Cottingham based Swift Group, the UK's leading touring caravan and motorhome manufacturer, scooped three top awards in the 2001 Caravan Industry Awards presented during the recent Earls Court Caravan & Outdoor Leisure Show.
The Awards came hot on the heels of the news that the Group achieved all time record sales of £13.5 million at the show.
The all new Bessacarr Cameo range scooped the Hawkins Electrical Award for touring caravans with the electrical system used in the Cameo 535SL. The Thetford Best Washroom Award for motorhomes went to the new Bessacarr E705 coachbuilt motorhome, while the final award went to the all new Abbey Aventura range, which was acclaimed winner of the Whale Award for Innovation for GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) Side Walls, which are far more impact and scratch resistant than traditional aluminium used on many touring caravans.
