Top racing driver Guy Smith, who drove the winning Bentley at the Le Mans 24 hour race this year, was first to congratulate his old friend and mentor Jonathan Lewis on his recent purchase of a Bessacarr E745 motorhome.
Jonathan, who runs the racing team Comtec, met Guy through their mutual interests of karting and caravanning, and it was Jonathan who gave Guy his first real racing experience when Guy was just fourteen. Since then Jonathan has helped and advised as Guy’s career has taken off. Guy was therefore delighted when Jonathan decided to buy a motorhome from one of his main sponsors – the Swift Group.
Jonathan plans to use his luxury motorhome both for family holidays with his wife Sam and two year old daughter Morgan, and also at race meets. Sam, a recent convert to motorcaravanning, immediately fell in love with the Bessacarr which they bought from a Brownhills dealership.
Jonathan said “We love the Bessacarr and there is nothing we would change. There’s no way my wife or I would do without our home-from-home comforts, and features such as the washroom with stand alone shower and proper electric flush toilet really sold it to us. We are also very impressed by the amount of space, and high standard of equipment in the kitchen.”
